In geometry dash meltdown, the challenge has many different obstacles, but some typical and most common obstacles in the challenge that you should know:
Spikes: This is the most common type of obstacle in Meltdown, appearing in many different shapes and sizes. They are scattered in the background, mounted on the wall, or even move in certain orbits. A collision with spikes will cause the character to lose their life immediately, forcing the player to move carefully and precisely to avoid them. To overcome areas full of spikes, players need to use jumping, flying, or dash skills to move through small gaps between spikes. The rhythmic movement when going through a series of spikes is the most difficult thing that players without much experience fear the most.
Saw: This is another type of dangerous obstacle in Meltdown. They are often placed in unpredictable positions, rotate continuously, and can cause serious damage to the character if they collide. Some saws can be destroyed by shooting at them; however, most saws are invincible and force the player to avoid them at all costs. The trick to passing areas with saws is that you need to pay attention to the saw's movements and move smoothly to the rhythm of the music.
Missiles: A dangerous mobile obstacle in Meltdown. They fly in certain directions and can explode when colliding with other characters or obstacles. The rocket's explosion can cause massive damage and knock characters away, putting them at risk of falling off cliffs or colliding with other obstacles. You need to move sideways or jump at the right time to avoid the missiles. Some missiles can be destroyed by shooting at them; however, this requires high precision and quick reflexes.
Pit: A simple but dangerous obstacle in Meltdown. They can appear anywhere on the level, and if the character falls into a hole without landing safely, it will lose a life. Some pits have spikes or saws at the bottom, making passing through them even more dangerous. To get over the pits, you need to use precise jumping or flying skills to land safely on platforms.
Trap: A type of hidden obstacle, often appearing near the end of the challenge. They are activated when the character touches or moves through a certain area and can cause a variety of effects, such as slowing movement speed, reversing control direction, or even pushing the character away out of the game screen. Traps are often placed in unpredictable locations, making it easy for players to get trapped and lose their lives. To avoid being trapped, you need to remember their location and move carefully.
